I’ve always loved product packaging and package design. So when Dr. Cynthia Hayes from Cynergy Health contacted me to design a Kleenex box cover for allergy season, I jumped at the opportunity. They plan to cover dozens of Kleenex boxes and deliver them to local doctors offices to promote referrals to their Allergy & Asthma practice. And we all know how bad allergy season is this year. The two together ought to make for a successful campaign.

I started this project by creating an accurate template for the 2″ tall Kleenex box Cynergy Health chose to use. A key step to a successful cover up!

I used both the Cynergy Health logo (the clinic) and Cynergy Allergy & Asthma logo (the practice). The filigree floral is a graphic standard of Cynergy Health and the floating dots represent allergens in the air.

Note how the white lines match up on the corners. My husband has 20 years of print experience and this was the first thing he looked at! He was impressed at my accuracy.

If you’re considering a marketing campaign or product promotion that includes packaging, be sure to consider me while shopping designers, I assure you, I’ll represent you well. Have a great afternoon.

Logo design, check! Business Cards, check! Signs, check! Below are three sides of Cynergy Health, each represented with a sign so that traffic of every kind (walkers, bikers, drivers) will see their clinic. Cynergy Health used Metal Logos as their vendor for sign work… and they did a very nice job.

As you face their front doors we placed logo decals in the adjacent windows. We chose white for the decals (easy to see on the dark windows) and adhered them to the inside of the window (less exposure to weather elements).

As you may recall Cynergy Health has four practices and I designed a door decal for each of those practices… below is the Cynergy Family decal.

This beautiful work-of-art is the door you enter from the waiting room into the various offices. We used this same filigree design on the Cynergy Health business cards and plan to use it on many other items as an element for the Cynergy Health brand.

I absolutely love this door! Thank you Cynthia for the opportunity to design for you and help brand your new clinic – it’s been so much fun and very rewarding as a graphic designer. Congratulations on a successful start!

Here are the business cards I designed for Cynergy Health (CH) in Columbia, Missouri. They compliment the clinic nicely! If you live in or near Columbia, you should swing by and visit this beautiful new clinic! And if you’re in the market for a new family doctor or allergy specialist… you should give CH a call! It’s like no clinic I’ve ever been to… it’s warm, friendly and inviting.

On the back of the card is an appointment reminder framed by a floral pattern that will be used throughout their printed materials and on an interior door at the clinic. I’ll have to take pictures of that project when it’s done.

Cynthia asked about putting something about Facebook on her card… and had anybody ever done that? To date none of my clients have done it… but that’s not to say it’s not a great idea. Many businesses are using Facebook and Twitter to market their business! And so we did! I believe it will prove to be a good communication tool for Cynergy Health as her fan base grows.

Back to work! Have a productive day!

Cynergy Health is a new medical clinic in Columbia, Missouri. I met Cynthia Hayes years ago when we worked together on her wedding invitations. It was fabulous to reunite with her and assist her with her logo design and branding efforts. My logo assignments always begin with a client meeting followed by a brainstorming session with pencil and paper. Here’s a peek at my sketches based on my initial meeting with Cynthia.

Below is a close-up snapshot of the chosen concept in my sketchbook. Once a concept is chosen I use Adobe Illustrator to computer illustrate the logo. Having sketched the concepts in advance, the time to computerize the chosen concept goes relatively quick.

Here is the final Cynergy Health clinic logo. We added the floral element to this logo so that we can generate secondary practice logos that “belong” to the clinic. Read on… you’ll see what I’m referring to.

The allergy practice existed prior to Cynergy Health opening and was called Columbia Allergy and Asthma Specialists. The boxes in this logo are brought over from her previous logo. It was important to Marcy that we keep her identity known in this new practice (very smart business decision). It was a challenge bringing the two together… but here is the combination of the clinic logo and practice logo — when all is said and done they’ll have three practice logos. Each practice logo will be brown with it’s own secondary color.

And finally… here is the practice logo flying solo. This logo may be used on their internal forms, marketing materials and possibly even logo wear.

More on Cynergy Health in the coming weeks. The clinic business cards are printing this week and signs are in the queue too. Check back soon for an update!

Dr. Cynthia Hayes is opening her own clinic Cynergy Health on May 18th and during a recent visit to Eyedentity Eyewear (Columbia, MO) noticed their marketing materials. She was having difficulties finding the right designer which prompted her to inquire about theirs. The irony of this connection is I designed Cynthia’s wedding invitations a few years ago… she just didn’t know I did an array of graphic design in addition to custom invitations. And so we meet again and we’re currently working through her move, logo design and clinic branding.

Cynthia had her moving postcard concept figured out prior to our first meeting and so photographed the boxes, designed the card, prepared it for print and managed the bulk mailing. What I love most about this moving postcard is the reality it depicts. There is nothing glamorous about moving — or the postcard! It’s leaves you wanting to stop in for the tour she offers. It’s perfect! Check back to see her logo and exterior sign(s).

Back to work. I’m making great progress this week and must not loose momentum! Have a great day!
