Prom Place Card + Calligraphy

From the creative process and prototypes to the final placement on the dining table, I captured these photos from beginning to end. My hope, while creating these custom place cards, is that they will be taken home, placed in a keepsake box with fantastic memories of prom night 2018, and adored for decades to come.

I chose black and white because of the special occasion and my client told me the colors would be incorporated in the tablescape itself. I used silver eyelets, cord, and glitter glue because most silverware is... well... actually silver. I used a fine tip Sharpie to write each name and create weighted strokes for beauty and character.
